Last night was the launch of the 3D manatee painting class and a study in light refraction. This group did an outstanding job as this was very technical painting style with so many different colors making up the final result. Some students were wondering how it was possible to make a class of painting a manatee, they thought you just painted it grey with some shadow lines. But this class took the full 3 hours to achieve these results. It was so rewarding to again see first time painters achieve such spectacular results. The class was also unusual in that one student wanted to paint a 3D sea turtle. This was a first for her and the results were spectacular. Thanks to our wonderful students, it was a privilege painting along side you.
They look wonderful!! I hope you plan on doing the manatee again soon😊
